Mannerisms is an alternative to your canonized 70's jazz rock fusion records your Dad, or (Uncle?) played when he thought no one was home. Drummer/composer Dean Wales would prefer to call it Cold Fusion, with regards to the groove elements that made music exciting before the self-indulgence took root. With textures drawing from post-rock, they evoke memories you aren't quiet sure are your own.
